Stop the March For England, Brighton 2014 (Report)

Nice Sunday in Brighton, where members of the RH witnessed first hand the warm welcome organized by thousands of Brightonians and antifascists for the pitiful bunch of nazi drunkard thugs and their likes.

As a matter of fact, the locals loved the fascists so much, that they tried to convince them not to take the train back home and stay in Brighton. Forever.

As always, the police acted as personal security for the fash, even after the latter had dragged their booze-filled bellies back to the train.

Fascists surrounded and certainly not in a “bright helm” yesterday

Members of the Rabbit Hole were in Slough during the antifascist demo against the EDL and have witnessed first-hand the “hospitality” offered by the local community to the fascists.

Probably the best summary of the day was provided by the local Berkshire Antifascists:

“Thanks to everyone that participated today in Slough: the EDL were outnumbered 2 to 1, we had the full support of the locals and we’ve all sent a strong message that they are NOT welcome in Berkshire. Today we saw yet again 100s of zieg heils in their ranks, and we saw them throwing bottles and sticks at children in our protest. Our solidarity is going toward the arrestees and we can’t wait to watch Crimewatch in a few months to see the faces of the cowards who threw bottles shamelessly at children and families peacefully protesting. Today we showed a united front with UAF, The Trade Union Council and the Slough community. The EDL protest was only able to go ahead because of their massive protection and facilitation by the police. Full statement to follow”
